Playford Village Hall

Playford is around 3 miles north of Ipswich just off the A1214 around a mile from Kesgrave, with relatively easy access from the A12. This lovely village hall has recently been rebuilt and extended and is situated in the middle of the village with a playing field and children’s play area alongside. There is ample car parking with a disabled entrance and ramp.

The Hall has three main rooms which are interlinked and can be hired out as a unit or independently.
The large main hall can comfortably accommodate large parties of up to 120 for functions, birthday parties and wedding receptions. Tables and chairs are available. It is also ideal for concerts, bring and buy sales, arts and crafts shows, film shows and classes such as keep fit.

The Annex is ideal for meetings or smaller functions or by opening the doors to the main hall can act as a buffet area for receptions or parties. It has doors opening out on the playing field.

The committee room is furnished with a round table and is best used as for committee meetings although the double doors can be opened to extend the Annex.

The hall has all the necessary facilities including toilets and a large, modern fully equipped kitchen (microwave, fridge-freezer, oven, crockery and cutlery)with serving hatch opening onto the main hall. Additional crockery and cutlery can be hired out at a small charge for weddings and parties.

The hall can be hired out by the hour, four hour session or by the day.
