Martlesham Community Hall and Richards Room are modern community facilities with a large free car park, conveniently located a short distance away from the main A12 Ipswich to Lowestoft road. We’re next to the Tesco Extra Martlesham superstore – which has a bus stop for the 14, 66 and 73 services.
Our facilities are available to everyone to hire. We’re here first and foremost for the Martlesham community, but we also welcome hirers from outside Martlesham, including commercial hirers.
Both the Community Hall and the Richards Room hire have been refurbished and redecorated in recent years. Both have Wi-Fi Internet access, a projector and a PA system – all free to use (i.e. included in hire cost) for hirers and their attendees. The Community Hall has a full kitchen and bar area, with hatches into the hall. The Richards Room has a small kitchenette area with a hot water boiler/urn and sink.
