Friston Village Hall

Friston Village Hall has everything needed for your special event. This bright airy hall has a well-equipped kitchen with, basic catering equipment plus, parking nearby – all the facilities you require are on hand to make your event a success.

The hall venue is in Friston village next to the church and a short walk to the village pub. With Saxmundham, and Aldeburgh both a short distance away this venue has easy access to the A12, main line train links, hotels, restaurants, and holiday rentals.

With a capacity for 80 seated and 100 standing the hall is suitable for small weddings, birthday celebrations, meetings, conferences, and funeral receptions. It is ideal for clubs, social events, and seasonal fairs. The wooden floor is the  perfect surface for exercise and dance classes.

The hall has wi-fi connection which you can use at no extra charge.

Wedding

At Friston Village Venue you have everything on hand for that perfect day. The bright sunny hall can be adapted just as you wish.  Across the path is the pretty church of St Mary the Virgin from where you and your guests can stroll to the hall after the ceremony. The hall set in the village has limited parking nearby with the Old Chequers pub and restaurant just across the village green.

In the large kitchen there is plenty of space for catering and a supply of crockery and utensils which can be used at no extra charge.

The hall is a blank canvas decorated in neutral tones  where you can create your own preferred theme for a special day.

Celebrations and Parties

The spacious hall is perfect for all celebrations events. The large kitchen has ample space for food preparation, the crockery and utensils can be used at no extra charge. Alternatively, you can provide your own caterers.

Tables and chairs are provided with seating for up to 80 people.

 The Village Green nearby and is a large area with a children’s play area set aside at one end.
