Our village hall used to be the Victorian village school and retains some of that character. The two entrance doors that separated the boys from the girls have been made into one and the interior dividing wall has long gone. We still have a fireplace which is used by the Fireside Club regularly. The hall is very popular for children’s parties as it has a large garden and is adjacent to the recreation ground, which has play equipment, outside fitness machines and a MUGA (Multi Use Games Area). We also have a large car park.
Other regular activities are yoga, keep fit and dancing. Sudbury and District War Games Club meets in the hall every Friday evening and some weekends. The village arts and crafts group use the hall weekly and in the school holidays there is a children’s art class. Other village organisations use the hall on a regular basis and coffee mornings are held, usually monthly, hosted in turn by one of them. Click on any event in the calendar to see more details.
We are always pleased to receive enquiries so do get in touch if you think our hall is suitable for your needs. Thank you.
