Darsham Village Hall

Darsham Village Hall is a spacious, light and airy hall located centrally within the village and was completed in October, 2019. 

DVH is a charitable institution, run as a non-profit making organisation by a voluntary management committee.  The hall is a key focal point for the village and hosts a wide range of clubs and community events.

There are also regular courses every week including yoga, pilates, sequence dancing and Dash Astro.  Village run clubs include, table tennis, petanque and carpet bowls. 

A village fête takes place every year in August and there are monthly coffee mornings with cakes and pastries available. 

Facilities

The main hall is spacious (147m²) and can be divided to make two separate areas. It can seat up to 100 at tables, so is an ideal venue for parties and weddings.

The large, well equipped and modern kitchen has everything you would need to prepare food, including a double electric oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, hot water heater and microwave; plus crockery, cutlery and glasses for 100+.

It has a car park with parking for 25 vehicles, plus disabled and easy-access spaces. The hall opens out onto a patio and the village green. The hall has a performing arts licence; however, it does not currently have an alcohol licence – a pop-up licence can be applied for in order to sell alcohol.

Prices

The following rates cover heating & other services. The charges are for a session. A session means all or part of a morning, afternoon or evening.

• Mornings are – 9am – 1pm
• Afternoons are 1pm – 5pm
• Evenings are – 5pm to 11pm

Darsham Residents & Regular Hirings – £20 per session

Non- Residents & Single Hirings – £25 per session

Use of the Kitchen and equipment is an additional £25.
